1. How would you describe your treatment recommendations?
Our office follows an evidence-based protocol. That is, all of our treatment methods and modalities, as well as our equipment (ie. X-ray, sterilization, etc), are all backed up by the latest scientific research ensuring the best dental treatment possible for you. We simply do not use technology or methods that have not been proven to have high levels of success
2. Do you employ modern methods?
From our digital x-rays, intraoral cameras to our state-of-the-art sterilization facility, we are able to provide you with some of dentistry's best advancements.
3. What are the advantages of digital x-rays?
Not only do digital x-rays reduce the patient's radiation exposure by about 90 percent, they also make it easier to communicate to the patient as the images are easier to display
4. How can I start my treatment?
The best way is to schedule yourself for a thorough examination. Your initial oral examination will take about an hour and includes a visual examination, soft tissue and oral cancer screening with velscope, charting, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays to help us diagnose any dental disease.
5. Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, we are an assignment office. When setting up your first appointment, please remember to give us your insurance information or bring your insurance card with you during your first visit.
6. I am trying not to miss work. Are you open on evenings or weekends?
We are open 6 days per week, including 4 evenings and every Saturday.
7. How can I prepare prior to my first dental visit?
In order to serve you better, please make a list of questions to ask our office, so you don't forget anything on the day of your appointment. This includes any concerns that you have, or oral problems that you are experiencing. In this way, your treatment plan can be customized especially for you.
8. How can I get there?
Walking: We have been located on street level at 8357 Granville Street since 1986, approximately Granville and 67th avenue. The office is completely wheel-chair assessable
Public transportation: The No. 10 bus will drop you off within a block from the office. There are many connections to transfer to the No. 10 bus, including the Canada Line.
Vehicle: There is plenty of free public street parking in the area. We also have free underground parking and our patients can park in stalls 28-30 and 1-6. The parking lot is located directly behind the office.
9. Is the dental work affordable?
Despite our high level of training and specialty procedures, our office charges the fee guide for services rendered. In addition, patients are consulted regarding long-term benefits that not only promote optimal oral health but are very cost effective in the end. We also offer patient financing. Please ask about our low cost payment options.
